The present Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's request for premature release of his brother, who is a life convict.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents produced a copy of G.O.(Ms).No.190, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 07.03.2024, wherein, the petitioner's brother/life convict prisoner had been released prematurely.
3. In view of the above fact, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
