PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents no.s 2 and 3 to survey and marked four boundaries of the petitioners property situated in Survey No . 63/9A1 in Kattimangalam Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District with an extent about 21.90 Ares with protection of the respondent No.4 by considering the petitioners application dated 13.08.2025 within a time period stipulated by this court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and marked four boundaries of the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.63/9A1 in Kattimangalam Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, with an extent about 21.90 Ares with protection of the respondent No.4 by considering the petitioner's application dated 13.08.2025 within a time period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an application dated 13.08.2025 has been made for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the subject property.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 13.08.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner, respondents 6 and 7 and the owners of relevant adjacent lands, if any and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of 3/5
