Respondent/Complainant Prayer : This Criminal Revision petition is filed under Section 397 r/w 401 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records relating to the Judgment and conviction passed by the learned District Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, in Crl.A.No.29 of 2010, dated 13.12.2012 confirming the Judgment and conviction passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai, in C.C.No.27 of 2005, dated 05.02.2010 and set aside the conviction and acquit the petitioner herein.

ORDER

The respondent herein filed a private complaint against the petitioners and others in C.C.No.27 of 2005 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Sivagangai, for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 448, 382, 427 and 506(2) of I.P.C. The learned trial Magistrate found the petitioner guilty of the offence in respect of Section 379 of I.P.C. The first petitioner Veerappan alone was found guilty in respect of the offence under Section 379 of I.P.C. He was dealt with under the Probation of Offenders Act. Challenging the same, Veerappan filed C.A.No.29 of 2010 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Sivagangai. The appellate Court by Judgment dated 13.12.2012, dismissed the appeal. Challenging the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ same, this Criminal Revision came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is reported

that Veerapan has since passed away. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. The Criminal Revision stands dismissed, accordingly. No costs.
