PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to pass an order of direction, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi to dispose the C.C.No.59 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

expeditiously as possible within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the Accused NO.1 in the C.C.No.59 of 2022. On the basis of the complaint given by the defacto complaint, a was registered in Crime No.215 of 2020, for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324 of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, 2002. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2020, so far no progress is made in the trial process. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police is ready to co-operate to complete the trial process within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.In view of the submissions on either side, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.59 of 2022 pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
