This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to withdraw and transfer the case in M.C.No.4 of 2023, from the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Karambakudi, to the Judicial Magistrate Court, Gandaravakottai.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent is residing at Karambakudi. Due to previous enmity between the petitioner and the de-facto complainant, the petitioner is afraid of appearing before the Magistrate Court, since it is situated near by the respondent's residence. Therefore, the case may be transferred as prayed for.

3.If there is any threat to the petitioner, it is always open to the petitioner to lodge a police complaint and get his remedy.
