O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent not to harass the Petitioners under the guise of enquiry by considering the Petitioners' representation dated 16.12.2023.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the 4th Respondent approached this Court by filing Writ Petition seeking direction to perform the temple Festival and to hold Chariot Procession. At that time there was an objection raised, therefore, this Court was not inclined to pass Order in favour of the 4th Respondent in W.P.(MD)No.13009 of 2022 and the same was disposed of with a direction to the 3rd Respondent in the Writ Petition to conduct Peace Committee Meeting. Subsequently, there was a Peace Committee Meeting, but, no term or settlement was arrived and therefore, the Petitioners have come forward with this Petition seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the Peace Committee Meeting was held, the Petitioner instead of appearing before the Peace Committee Meeting had approached this Court. Let there be a direction by this Court to attend Peace Committee Meeting. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) also submits that C.S.R.No.1053 of 2023 registered by the 3rd Respondent.

Considering that there is rivalry between two Communities regarding organizing of the Temple Festival and Chariot Procession, the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is found reasonable. The Petitioners are directed to appear before the Officials concerned with the Peace Committee Meeting tasks and to participate in the said Peace Committee Meeting. Based on the Peace Committee Resolution or Settlement, the Officers are directed to deal with the Temple issue and pass suitable Orders.

5. This Petition is disposed of with the above directions to the Officials.
