PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors/respondents Nos.1 to 3 and punish them for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.12056 of 2021, dated 26.10.2022 under the Contempt of Courts Act.

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 26.10.2022, made in W.P.(MD)No.12056 of 2021.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the Tahsildar has taken action for removal of encroachment in S.Nos.42, 35/10A and 35/10B and also removed the encroachment on 14.12.2023 in the cart track in S.No.42 and cleared the pathway for use of the public. The learned Special Government Pleader

appearing for the respondents has produced a copy of the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Aathoor, dated 24.01.2024 to that effect. He further submitted that the copy of the proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 24.01.2024 will be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week from today.

3. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner is having any grievance, it is for him to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum. No costs.
