ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 09/10/2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that initially the case was registered on the complaint given by one Iruthayaraja stating that the petitioner, who was a doctor by profession has not treated his father properly, as a result of which, he died. He would further submit that the case was registered under Section 174 of BNS and thereafter, it was altered to 105 of the BNS and that further action would be taken after obtaining opinion from the Medical Board.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, direction cannot be issued as prayed for. The respondent police shall conduct the investigation fairly and file the final report after obtaining opinion from the Medical Board. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
