ORDER

This Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner and his father in the guise of an enquiry, based on the complaint given by the third respondent dated 28.09.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out in said complaint and the same would be completed within three weeks.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the complaint discloses only a money dispute and the respondents have no jurisdiction to entertain such a complaint.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent police shall conduct the enquiry and conclude the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that in the guise of enquiry, the petitioner shall not be called to the police station frequently. If the petitioner's presence is required, the respondent police may issue a summon to the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
