O R D E R

The petitioner asserts that his ancestors constructed the Dandayudhapani Bhajanai Madam at Vellaripatti Village. It is further stated that his family members created a trust and that the property was vested in the trustees for and on behalf of the above mentioned Madam. Upon being shocked to discover that pattas were transferred fraudulently in the names of individuals, the petitioner had applied for cancellation of such pattas. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. On the basis of instructions, he submits that the petitioner's allegation pertains to a UDR error and that any application in respect of UDR errors is required to be considered by the jurisdictional District Revenue Officer.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, the District Revenue Officer is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent in this Writ Petition. This order shall be issued after 2/4

carrying out the amendment in this Writ Petition.

4. By taking into account the submissions of both parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the District Revenue Officer to consider the petitioner's request for correction of the revenue records. After issuing notice to the current pattadars and providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the current pattdars, a speaking order shall be issued within four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
