O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the interest at the rate of 6 percent as per court direction for belated payment of terminal benefits of gratuity, Provident Fund and Leave Salary for its total amount comes to Rs.45,09,080/- deposited into Bank dated on 25.08.2025 to petitioner.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment, the petitioner is entitled to statutory interest as provided under law.

3. In view of the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the belated terminal benefits payable to the petitioner from the date of his entitlement till the date of his payment within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
