ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to receive / accept petitioner's premium amount for the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme on the basis of his representation dated 11.11.2023.

However, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the 6th respondent submitted that, the properties for which the petitioner is seeking for payment of premium under the crop insurance scheme are the subject matter of a civil suit in O.S.No.231 of 2021 on the file of the Subordinate Judge's Court at Devakottai. However, as far as the property in survey Nos.192/5 and 186/4A situated at Panankulam Village, Chakati Panchayat, Chakanti Group, Sivagangai District, the 6th respondent has no objection. 2/5

3. In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the 4th respondent to accept the premium amount for Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.11.2023 with respect to the property in survey No.192/5 and 186/4A today itself.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
