ORDER

The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned charge sheet in J.C.No.142 of 2024 on the file of the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai, which was filed for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324 and 34 of IPC.

2.When this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and has made an endorsement to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would request that the petitioner is a juvenile and that the a final report has been filed before the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai and that Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai, may be directed to expedite the trial.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, considering the age of the petitioner and the nature of the allegations, the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai, is directed to expedite the trial in J.C.No.142 of 2024 and 2/4

conclude the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
