PRAYER :-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant emergency leave for a period of 3 months to petitioner's husband, namely Karuppasamy @ Ajith, S/o.Thirumurugan aged 29 years, confined at Madurai Central Prison(PID No.433065) based on the representation dated 08.10.2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN,J.) The writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant emergency leave for a period of 3 months to petitioner's husband, namely Karuppasamy @ Ajith, S/o.Thirumurugan aged 29 years, confined at Madurai Central Prison(PID No.433065) based on the representation dated 08.10.2025.

2. Seeking emergency leave for a period of three months, the petitioner, who is the wife of the convict prisoner, has given a representation to the respondents. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/5

3. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, by producing the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 15.10.2025, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and the third respondent has rejected the same.

4. In view of the above, since the 3rd respondent has already considered and rejected the representation of the petitioner seeking leave for three months on 15.10.2025, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
