This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the property of petitioner located in Survey No. S.No. 1625/1A, 1B, 1C1 Veerapandi village, Theni Taluk, Theni District measuring to 75 cents and issue appropriate directions in this regard within a specific time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that online application has been made for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 15.05.2023 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 within a period of four weeks from today. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
