2. This petition seeks to quash the summons issued under Section 109 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why he should not be ordered to execute a bond for his good behaviour for a period of one year.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the said summons is dated 11.12.2023 and that since the petitioner has executed the bond and the bond period has already expired, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
