ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue Non-traceable certificate in respect of a missing document, by considering his complaint dated 12.07.2025.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioner complies with all the requirements, the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with the circular issued by the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai, in Rc.No. 2029209/General.1(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 and communicate the decision taken on the said representation within a period of six weeks.

3. In view of the aforesaid undertaking, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with the circular issued by 2/4

the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai, in Rc.No. 2029209/General.1(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
