Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the Patta No.856 in connection with Survey No. 145 and Patta No.792 in connection with Survey Nos.140,142, 143, 150, 152, 158, 159, 175 situated at Cholan Maaligai Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District and to restore the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2023 within stipulated timed fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The third respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the third respondent to pass order one 2/4

way or the other. The third respondent shall put the interested persons including the private respondent herein on notice before passing the final order.

3.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
