ORDER

The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st Respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the Petitioner to run a SPA i.e. Cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "Angel Touch Family Salon and Ayurvedic Thai Spa" at Plot No.21, Mannar Saraboji Nagar, 2nd Floor, Nelagiri North Street, Nelagiri Post, Thanjavur, by passing order on the Petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the Petitioner had to file appropriate Petition before the Municipal Authorities as per the amendment under Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, Rule 299.

3. From the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Petitioner without filing such application before the Municipal Commissioner, straightaway approached this Court. Hence, the Petitioner is directed to approach the Municipal Authorities and to file 2/4

appropriate Petition, as per Rule 299 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023.
