O R D E R

This petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and the family members.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the FIR registered in Crime No.620 of 2023 was investigated and on completion of investigation, a police report has now been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manapparai, on 15.10.2024, through e-filing mode and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3.In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2/4

Manapparai, to act upon the police report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.62 of 2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
