ORDER

This civil revision petition has been filed to direct the learned District Judge, Tiruchirapalli to expedite the hearing in Election O.P.No.7 of 2011 and dispose of the same within the time frame.

2.I have heard Mr.V.Singam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thiagarajan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.C.Vakeeswaran, learned counsel for the second respondent and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3.The petitioner filed Election O.P.No.7 of 2011 on the file of the learned District Judge, Tiruchirapalli and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present civil revision petition for the aforesaid https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relief.

4.Considering the fact that the Election O.P is of the year 2011 and having regard to the submission made by the learned counsels on either side and also considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the learned District Judge, Tiruchirapalli, to dispose of the Election O.P.No.7 of 2011 pending on the file of the learned District Judge, Tiruchirapalli as expeditiously as possible on day to day basis in any event, not later than 30th June 2016.

In the result, the civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
