ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to pay Rs.5,00,000/- as loan from the petitioner's provident fund account No.7251 for his daughter's marriage expenses based on petitioner's application and representation, dated 17.11.2023 within a stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner is working as a Maintenance Staff at Pudur Branch in the respondent corporation since 1992. For the purpose of his daughter's marriage expenses, the petitioner approached the respondent office before 3 months for non-refundable loan and sought for issuance of a loan application. However, the said application was issued only on 17.11.2023. On receipt of the same, immediately the petitioner applied for PF loan from his Provident Fund Account No.7251, seeking payment of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only). On 17.11.2023, along with application, he also made a representation to the respondents seeking to pay Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) as loan 2/4

from PF amount. However, his representation is not considered. In view of the same, this writ petition came to be filed.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent Corporation to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.11.2023 along with the loan application seeking PF loan for a tune of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) from his Provident Fund Account No.7251 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
