This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 15.04.2023.
2. Considering the fact that the petitioner has preferred an appeal on 15.04.2023 before the first respondent against the punishment imposed against him and the same is yet to be disposed of and considering the fact that the appeal has been pending for a period of more than two years, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 15.04.2023, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
