ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the final report in C.C.No.261 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ramanathapuram District, which was filed for the offences under Section 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) of IPC.
2. The allegation in the final report is that on account of prior enmity, the petitioners along with A1 had attacked the defacto complainant with wooden log and aruval; that they had abused him in filthy language besides committing the offence of criminal intimidation.
3. Admittedly, the petitioners and the second respondent are residing in the same locality and they have now entered into a compromise and decided to give a quietus to the entire dispute. The parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 17.10.2025.

The petitioners, namely, Dhineshkumar (Aadhaar No.2948 3765 8903), Kantha Ragavi @ Gowsalya (Aadhaar No.6264 8755 1673) and the second respondent, namely, Pancha @ Panja (Aadhaar No.4061 1958 8839) are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.Thirumugan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Thirupullani Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.

In view of the same, considering the nature of the offences and the relationship between the parties, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the impugned final report pending trial. Accordingly, the impugned final report in C.C.No.261 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ramanathapuram is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 17.10.2025 shall form part of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
