DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN.,J AND C.KUMARAPPAN.,J This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the detenu seeking for a direction to the respondent to produce the person or body of the Petitioners son, namely Karikalan, son of Krishnan, aged about 20 years before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The Petitioner is the father of 21 years old boy. Since his son is went on missing, after lodging a complaint, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.

4.The respondent-Police has secured the boy and produced before this Court. When the detenu was enquired, he states that he is 2/5

now residing in Sivagangai and working as Electrician. 5.Since the boy is a major and he is alive and has taken a decision on his own to leave his parents, this Court has nothing to say in this matter, except to dismiss the Habeas Corpus Petition. 6.Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
