Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to operate Bath Room opposite to ward No.110, Madurai Rajaji Hospital, which was allotted to the petitioner by the hospital authorities as per the direction of the first respondent on 27.08.2010, by considering the representation preferred by the petitioner dated 17.08.2011 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to operate Bath Room opposite to ward No.110, Madurai Rajaji Hospital, which was allotted to the petitioner by the hospital authorities as per the direction of the first respondent on 27.08.2010, by considering the representation preferred by the petitioner dated 17.08.2011 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.S.Malaikani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.08.2011 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
