Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to allow the petitioner's trustee members to the event of temple festival of "Kodai Vizha" in Shri.Mutharamman Temple scheduled to be held on 13.10.2025 to 15.10.2025 by giving adequate police protection for all attendant poojas, rituals and cultural events by considering representation dated 06.10.2025 in person.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 06.10.2025 and permit him to conduct the "Kodai Vizha" festival in Shri.Mutharamman Temple scheduled to be held on 13.10.2025 to 15.10.2025 by giving adequate police protection.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that earlier, the fourth respondent had filed a Writ Petition before this Court in W.P.(MD).No. 25949 of 2025; that this Court vide order dated 06.10.2025 had directed the fourth respondent to approach the Civil Court if he claims any exclusive right to perform a ritual called "Samy Aduthal"; and that in view of the rival claims, the petitioner's request cannot be considered.
3. Considering the limited relief sought in this Writ Petition, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2025 and communicate the order passed thereon to the petitioner. However, there cannot be any positive direction to the respondent Police to consider the representation favourably.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
