O R D E R

The Tahsildar, Madurai North Taluk, issued patta to the petitioners in respect of the land in S.No.7/1, Silaiyaneri Village, Madurai District. Since, follow up action was not taken by the respondents to demarcate the land, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the Tahsildar has already initiated action in the year 2011. Since the process of cleaning the land took considerable time, the matter was delayed. According to the learned Government Advocate, early action would be taken to demarcate the lands, pursuant to the request made by the petitioners.

3. The third respondent is directed to take follow up action to demarcate the property covered by the patta issued to the concerned petitioners pursuant to the action taken by him as indicated in the correspondence, dated 28.10.2011. The process shall be completed, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
