PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to measure the petitioner's land and fix the four boundaries in S.F.No.468/3 to an extent of 0.37.5 hectares situated at Thevaram Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk Theni District by considering petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2025 with reference to petitioner's online application vide his E-Challan No. 2024/0123/25/002523 on 23.09.2024 within the time frame fixed by this court and directing the 3rd respondent to give necessary police protection at the time of survey.

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 27.05.1997 in the name of the petitioner's mother and patta No.1054 also in the name of the petitioner's mother, the petitioner had applied for survey of the land in S.No.468/3 of an extent of 37.5 ares. The present writ petition relates thereto. 2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate(crl.side) accepts notice for the 3rd respondent. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's application would be acted upon after issuing notice to the petitioner's mother and the other legal heirs of the petitioner's mother. 2/4

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue records in favour of Eswari who is said to be the petitioner's mother. Therefore, it is necessary to issue notice to the pattadhar and the other legal heirs. It is also necessary to put the owners of relevant adjoining lands on notice.

4.Subject to the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for survey and complete the entire process within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to persons indicated in the earlier paragraph.
