Respondent Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the complete records pertaining to the impugned minutes resolved in the 40th and 41st meeting of the standing Academic Board dated 22.12.2010 & 14.06.2011 and 201st and 204th meeting dated 12.07.2011 of the Governing council of the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University Chennai on the file of the Respondent and quash the same as illegal and void abinito that hose minutes are contrary to the Indian Medicine (Minimum standards of Education in India Medicine) Regulations 2006 and consequently directing the respondent to repeal the amendments made in the syllabus and nomenclature of the degrees of the Siddha Under Graduate and Post Graduate Siddha Medical Course from the academic year 2011-12.

O R D E R

Aggreived by the change of syllabus and nomenclature of the degrees of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Siddha Medical Course from the academic year 2011-12, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Pending the writ petition, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent University submitted that the first and fourth petitioners had successfully completed B.S.M.S degree course and they have obtained degree certificates on 02.09.2014. The second petitioner had received his degree certificate on 03.12.2016. In sofaras the third petitioner is concerned, he had also completed B.S.M.S and obtained PPC - I in the month of May 2016.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioners have accepted the change of syllabus and appeared for the concerned examinations and they have also successfully obtained degree certificates, no further order is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
