O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to waive the loan amount for Agri Loan No.619 availed by the petitioner by extending the benefit as per G.O.(Ms).No.16, dated 08.02.2021, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.12.2021.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, she availed an agricultural loan of Rs.1,16,000/-, on 24.12.2020 in Agri Loan No.619. But her loan was not 2/5

waived as per G.O.(Ms).No.16, dated 08.02.2021. Hence, she has made a representation to the Chief Minister and other respondents on 21.12.2021. However, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner has not sent any representation to the fourth respondent or the other respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner may be directed to give a representation to the respondents and the respondents will consider the same and pass appropriate orders, if she is otherwise eligible for consideration.

Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the petitioner to give a representation to the respondents by enclosing a copy of this order, on or before 12.01.2024. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, before March 2024.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
