ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent police not to interfere in the Civil Dispute, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2025.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had initially borrowed a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- from the husband of the defacto complainant; that she had repaid the same and that inspite of the same, the third respondent has been repeatedly lodging complaints.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out in said complaint and the same would be completed within two weeks.

4. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry, after giving notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent police shall communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. It is needless to say that the respondent police shall not interfere in any civil dispute.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
