ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.The petitioner is a ward counsellor. He alleges that the fourth respondent had committed encroachment in respect of the petition mentioned survey numbers which have been classified as "water bodies". Seeking their removal, this writ petition has been filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the second respondent would undertake survey. 2/4

4.We direct the second respondent respondent to conduct survey. If encroachments are noticed, notices shall be given to all the encroachers / interested parties including the private respondent herein and opportunities should be given to them and they will be removed by adhering to due process of law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
