This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2023, for cancelling the settlement deed in Document No.1180 of 2003, dated 19.11.2003 on the file of the third respondent.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, his father mistakenly executed a settlement deed in Document No.1180 of 2003, dated 19.11.2003, in favour of the fifth respondent for pathway in S.No.104/11 to an extent of 0.36.5 hectares in Pandrimalai Village, Dindigul District, which belongs to the sixth respondent. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent, on 22.09.2023, requesting him to make correction in the said settlement deed executed by his father. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for R1 to R3 and Mr.D.Gandhi Raj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for R4 and R5.

5. Considering the above said facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2023 and pass 3/6

appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the parties concerned, within a period of twenty weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
