Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 11673/ 2023 :

Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.545 of 2020 dated 13.9.2020 on the file of the 3rd respondent herein of the Respondent herein or any other superior officer on the basis of the Representation dated 17.04.2023 submitted by the petitioner to the 1st Respondent herein and other higher authorities. Order : This petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Ravi, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.C.Suresh Kumar, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Court by an order, dated 28.06.2023, had disposed of the case in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.11673 of 2023 by acknowledging the undertaking given by the 2nd respondent that the investigation will be completed within a period of three months and a final report will be filed before the concerned Court.

2. Now, the 3rd respondent has filed the present petition seeking extension of time for a period of six months to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, and also considering the request made by the 3rd respondent, time is extended by a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
