ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble C.v.Karthikeyan J.) This petition has been filed to implead the respondents 4 and 5, the wife and daughter of the detenu. The Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the sister of the detenue complaining that her brother had been missing on and from 17.05.2025.

2. A status report had been filed by the second respondent wherein, it had been

stated as follows:

"It is submitted that upon her request Dinakaran received a sum o fRs.700/- through g-pay and he arranged a auto to Jolarpet Railway Station by handing over the received amount to missing person. With the gathered information the police officials reached Jolarpet railway station and enquired many persons by showing the missing person's photograph and further reported before the District Crime Records Beauro with records and the same to be sent to all police stations for search. Also, the police officials made enquiries with drivers of the auto stand about th emissing person and reached the police station on 02.07.2025 and submitted the report. The second respondent police offiicals had taken earnest efforts to trace the missing person by visiting various places in Kanyakumari District, Churches, Temples, Railway Stations and also Thirupathur Market, Jolarpet Railway Station and all busy places".

3. The impleading petition is allowed. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the cause title to the Habeas Corpus Petition.

4. Issue notice to the newly impleaded respondents 4 and 5 returnable by 04.11.2025.

5. Post on 04.11.2025.
