ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent herein to not to interfere in the civil disputes on the guise of the enquiry in pursuance to the complaint lodged by the third respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent is the brother of the petitioner and the respondent police are unnecessarily interfering with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent herein.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out in the said complaint and the same would be completed within two weeks.

4. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry, after giving notice to 2/4

the petitioner and the counter parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent police shall communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. It is needless to say that the respondent police shall not interfere with the civil disputes.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
