ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2025 in the light of the G.O. (MS).No.113 Finance (Treasuries and Accounts-III) Department dated 14.05.2025 and to provide Term Life Insurance Coverage of Rs.10,00,000/- to the petitioner and his son within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the third respondent, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. According to the petitioner, his representation dated 29.07.2025, seeking Term Life Insurance Coverage of Rs.10,00,000/- for himself and his son, has not been considered. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. 2/5

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2025 is considered in light of G.O.(Ms) No.113, Finance (Treasuries and Accounts-III) Department, dated 14.05.2025.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2025 in the light of G.O.(Ms) No.113, Finance (Treasuries and Accounts-III) Department, dated 14.05.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. In case of rejection, a speaking order shall be passed.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
