ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 26.12.2023 under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Act No.2 of 1974) praying to grant an order of pre-arrest bail.

2.The petitioner, apprehends the arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Act No.45 of 1860) in Crime No.Not Known of 2023 on the file of the respondent-police.

3.Mr.Veeranthiran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent-police submitted that no complaint has been received and no FIR has been registered against the petitioner herein. The above submission is recorded. 4.In view of the submissions, the petitioner has no reasonable apprehension of arrest at the hands of the respondent police. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
