ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirumayam, to dispose of the case in C.C.No. 97 of 2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the alleged occurrence took place in the year 2019; that the respondents have also filed a final report recently; that due to the pendency of this case, the petitioner is unable to pursue his job abroad; that the co-accused have admitted their guilt and the case against them has been split up and that the same was disposed of on 21.03.2023.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the accused Nos.3 and 5 are absconding; that they have been declared as proclaimed offenders; that the case has now been split up as against the petitioner and renumber as C.C.No.97 of 2025 and that he is appearing before the trial Court regularly.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that 10 witnesses are cited in the final report and they 2/4

would produce all the witnesses as and when, the summons are served by the learned Judicial Magistrate.

5. Since the case is pending from the year 2019 and the petitioner is regularly appearing before the learned Judicial Magistrate, this Court directs the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, to conclude the trial as against the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
