ORDER

The petitioner has sought for direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the complaint made by the fourth respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the fourth respondent, an enquiry is pending only to ascertain whether any cognizable offence is made out in said complaint and the same would be completed within two weeks.

3. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry, after giving notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent police 2/4

shall communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the respondent police, he may seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
