ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 26.12.2023 under Section 438 of 'The Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Act No.2 of 1974)' [henceforth 'Cr.P.C.'] praying to grant an order of pre-arrest bail. 1/3

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that the respondent-Police received a complaint from one Rohini and after preliminary enquiry, the respondent Police closed the same. The above submission is recorded.

3. In view of the closure of the complaint, petitioner has no reasonable apprehension of arrest at the hands of the respondent-Police. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. is not maintainable.

4. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
