This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Thoothukudi to consider the petitioner's bail application on the date of his surrender in connection with FIR No.405 of 2025 registered on the file of the second respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the the petitioner has been arrested in the said case.
