By relying on patta No.278, the petitioner had applied for a survey of lands in survey Nos.124/1A and 124/19A. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a proposal to acquire the petitioner's land initially for purposes of a burial ground and later for purposes of a pathway and that these proceedings were dropped. He also submits that pursuant thereto, the land was reconveyed to the petitioner and the patta stands in the name of the petitioner. On instructions, he states that there is no rival title claim in respect of the properties sought to be surveyed.

3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice for the third respondent. On the basis of written instructions, learned 2/4

Government Advocate submits that the application was submitted on 25.09.2025 and would be considered on a first-in-first-out basis.

4. In these circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application and conduct the survey within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. No costs.
