Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to grant permission to construct a Church and consequentially to direct the 2nd respondent to grant approval for the plan submitted by the petitioner for the construction of the Church in the land belonging to the petitioner's Trust in Survey No.836/6 to an extent of 5 cents in Azhagiyapandipuram village, Azhagiyapandipuram Panchayat, Kanyakumari District and by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 20.08.2006 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honorable Court.
