The petitioner asserts that the land in old survey No.4527 of an extent of 2 acres 19 cents was transferred by his grandfather to his grandmother, Isakkiyamma Nadachi. Thereafter, the property was inherited by her legal heirs, including the petitioner's mother, Lakshmi. After the death of the said Lakshmi on 13.01.2013, the petitioner applied for mutation of the patta in the names of the legal heirs. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Aovernment Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the first respondent will consider the petitioner's request for patta transfer and issue orders thereon within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's request for patta transfer and 2/4

issue a speaking order within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to all the legal heirs of Lakshmi. No costs.
