ORDER

The petitioner herein is a third party to the writ petition in WP.(MD)No.18034 of 2022 and he has filed this sub application to permit him to prosecute the contempt petition on behalf of the writ petitioner.

2.The above said writ petition was filed by one Rajeshwaran seeking a direction to restore the electricity service connection for his property in Door No.14-169 in Charappazhanji, Athemcode Village, Methukummal Post, Killiyoor Taluk, Kanyakumari District. Considering the rival submission, this Court by its order dated 14.07.2023 has disposed the said writ petition with a direction to the respondent to restore the electricity service connection on payment of consumption charges. The writ petitioner/Rajeshwaran has not filed any contempt petition. The petitioner herein claiming to be a power of attorney to the said 2/4

Rajeshwaran has filed this sub application to permit him to prosecute the contempt petition.

3.When the writ petitioner is not before this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition, which was filed by the third party. Therefore, this sub application is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner herein to workout his remedy with his principal and the contempt petition is rejected at the SR stage itself.
