Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the name of the Petitioner from displaying the List of History sheeted rowdy in K.D.History Sheet No.07/2011, dated 29.6.2011, on the file of the second respondent/Police.

ORDER

The Petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove his name from displaying the List of History sheeted rowdy in K.D.History Sheet No.07/2011, dated 29.6.2011, on the file of the second respondent/Police. 2.Heard M/s.S.Deenadhayalan, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Petitioner had earlier given a representation in the year 2011 and if a fresh representation is given, the first respondent is ready to consider the same, within the time specified by this Court.

4.In view of the above said submission, this Court directs the Petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the first respondent shall pass orders on the said representation purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eights weeks therefrom. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
