ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.139 of 2024 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that at the instance of the petitioner, Crime No.139 of 2024 was registered on 10.09.2024 for the offences under Section 281, 106 (1) BNS, 2023 with respect to accidental death of her husband. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petitioner had already filed a petition seeking direction to transfer the investigation from the 2nd respondent in Crl.O.P(MD)No.3442 of 2025, in which favourable order was passed on 24.02.2025 directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police and cooperate with the investigation. However, even thereafter, despite the petitioner's appearance before the 2nd respondent police, the investigation is not yet concluded.
3. In this regard, the 2nd respondent police is directed to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and further directed to apprise the progress of the investigation to the 1st respondent every Friday. The 1st 2/4
respondent is directed to monitor the investigation till the investigation attain finality.
4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
