Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to remove the obstruction caused by the formation of New National Highways Service Lane Road which blocks the entrance of the petitioners school, particularly in S.Nos. 186/3B and 187/1A situated at Thenkarai Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2025 and 30.09.2025. Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner alleges that on account of the formation of National Highways Service Lane, obstruction has been caused in front of the petitioner school.

3. The learned standing counsel for NHAI submits that obstruction that was originally there when the road was being laid has since been removed. The latest photograph has been produced before me and I am satisfied with the stand taken by NHAI. If some convenience has arisen on account of laying of the service lane on the national highway, it is for the petitioner to make appropriate arrangements.

4. The Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
